About Matthew
I am a freelance photographer specializing in portrait, lifestyle and branded content photography. Born and raised in Colorado and working as a designer in Chicago, I bring a free spirited love of the outdoors and a thoughtful approach to my projects. I enjoy shooting everything from product hero images to commercial and residential interiors.
My love for photography did not begin with a fancy digital camera. I first learned digital rendering and editing as part of my education in design, and soon became fascinated with the character and beauty of analog film. Modern photographers devote a lot of the post production process in editing the images to carry traits that are unique to film photographs. Because of that, I shoot a mixture of film and digital (all of your images will be available digitally), and end up with images that are clean and clear, but rooted in that timeless and natural look of film.
That being said every shoot is tailored to each individual client's needs.
